How can I book a room at Agap' & Morphée?

The offer is available on different booking platforms, so you can get the best price by booking direct either by telephone or by email. here.

How can we pay for our stay?

We accept credit cards, cheques, holiday vouchers, cash and bank transfers. When booking on our website, you will be asked for a 30% deposit.

How do I get to Agap' & Morphée?

We live in Pouancé, part of the Ombrée d'Anjou community of municipalities. Type Agap' et Morphée into Maps or Waze on your GPS (phone, not car). You'll arrive straight away.

If you wish to record the address on your car gps, type 604 la fossaie (lieu dit) POUANCE 49420 OMBREE D'ANJOU.

If you are a hiker or cyclist, please let me know when you make your reservation or when we exchange emails or text messages. I like to personalise my welcome, and adapt my offer as closely as possible to the needs of passing guests.

Is there on-site parking?

We have created two parking spaces for our guests, on our property, so your vehicles are safe.

How late can we get there?

I welcome you from 4pm to 10pm. After 10pm, I leave your room key in the key box located at the entrance to the guest rooms. I'll text you the code.

Do the rooms have access for people with reduced mobility?

No, the rooms are not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Only the Emma room offers more space and a larger shower.

Can we eat on site?

You can dine on site only if you book 48 hours before your arrival.

In winter we have two formulas:

  • Starter-main course-dessert €25
  • Starter-main course or main course-dessert at €20

In the summer, the menu evolves with a wider choice of fresh produce:

  • Gourmet salad - dessert €20
  • Board to share €30

What products do you use to cook?

I work mainly with fresh produce from the various markets in the area and I create my menus according to the seasons, working with local producers for fruit, vegetables and meat. I like to promote local know-how.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served from 8am to 10.30am, but can be served earlier depending on the needs of my guests, and a little later for stays of more than 2 days.

Is the SPA private?

Yes, it can be made private for each room by reserving your time slot in advance. It is ready to use all year round. The temperature is 37° and the price includes a bathrobe, towel and slippers.

Do we have access to the garden?

A large part of the garden is accessible to you, with deckchairs and garden furniture positioned in different places, and you can move the furniture around to follow the sun's course. Don't hesitate to ask for balls, rackets, darts, shuffleboard...

What activities are available nearby?

First of all, you can go for a walk on the footpath that starts from the house (a 20-minute to 5-hour walk, depending on your preferences). Then you'll have to get back in the car to drive around the pond and visit the château de Pouancé and the old church of St Aubin.

For activities further afield, you'll find a brochure in your room with a map listing all the activities in the Anjou Bleu region. We are located at the crossroads of 4 departments: Maine et Loire, Loire Atlantique, Ille et Villaine and Mayenne, so within a radius of

100km, there's plenty to see and do, so don't hesitate to spend a few days with us!

Where can I find a good restaurant?

There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and you'll find visiting cards at the B&B information point, so I'll be able to advise you according to your tastes, desires and destination.

Does your establishment have an eco-responsible approach?

Several criteria recommended by the eco-responsible labels have been in place since the opening in 2022

  • Low-energy light bulbs inside and outside the establishment
  • The communal area is equipped with motion detector lighting
  • On the courtesy tray you'll find a glass bottle to fill from the fountain, and the crockery is made of glass.
  • The showers are equipped with "Saramances" liquid soap dispensers, an eco-friendly brand from the Loire region.
  • The napkins are made of fabric
  • For the table d'hôtes, the purchases are local and partly organic.
  • We've been sorting our waste for 30 years and composting our vegetable waste
  • Initial cleaning and maintenance is carried out using eco-responsible and organic products.
  • We collect the water from the Jacuzzi, which after a few days no longer contains any chlorine, and use it to wash the terrace or water the flowers in the garden.
  • Our flowerbeds are mulched to avoid watering
  • In 2023, we carried out attic and external insulation work to improve the energy performance of our house.
  • We are currently considering eco-labelling Agap & Morphée, in 2025, in response to a local initiative by the tourist office.
