The art of hospitality in the heart of Anjou
It's hard to talk about yourselfIt takes courage to open up, because we are often harder on ourselves than on others. But when you have a background like mine, or theabnegation is an integral part of your being, you can sometimes lose yourself in the abyss and lose your soul.
Opening my guest housewas for me a renaissancea link to reconnect with who I am. The road to yourself is never finished, but it can become less steep as you meet new people and as the universe puts signs in your path. This is my story!
From empathy to hospitality: an authentic journey
With more than 25 years' experience in the health and social care sectoras a care assistant and then as an entertainer in a nursing home, I have developed a keen interest in the care of the elderly. listening and a an acute sense of empathy. This career path has taught methe importance of human relations. Today, I put these qualities at the service of my guests.
Agap' & Morphée is a place where anyone can feel at home and enjoy a unique experience.
A path marked by human values
The ups and downs of life have made me a resilient person who knows how to grasp the signs that life throws my way. It's a journey family cycling on the towpath banks of the Maine that the idea ofa different working life to germinate in my mind. It is on the initiatory path of Compostelle that I said to myself "Anything is possible".
All the encounters I've had through these experiences have inspired me to open a bed and breakfast business, where the 'French way of life' is a key element.homethe experience sharing or around our table, are the focus of my attention.
Agap' & Morphée, a dream come true
This project is my 5ᵉ child brought into the world in a spirit of joy and self-improvement. My logo was designed in the image of what I have become, a woman inked on her own doorstep, ready to welcome you.
My guest house is a place that I (and my husband) wanted to visit. warm, comfortable where you can immediately feel at home.
I put all my heart into decoration of each room. I've created two cosy, personalised atmospheres, so that Morpheus can plunge you into a world of relaxation. restorative and rejuvenating sleep.
I love finding old objects, mixing styles and creating unique atmospheres. Each room has its own story and tells a little of my own story.
La table d'hôtes showcases all the expertise of our local producers and here again the word Agap' takes on its full meaning, as Agapes are convivial meals with friends.
Our garden has never been as beautiful as it is now that I've opened the chambres d'hôtes. I spend a lot of time on it and I love creating new things. planting space for the pleasure of your eyes and taste buds.
Anjou, a land of adoption
I was born in Loire-Atlantique, but I grew up in Anjou. I'm very attached to this land, where I discovered its wealth through my husband's work as a 'peasant'. It's an area full of natural and architectural resources.
Visit travelling through Anjouto the south, you'll discover the vineswhich produce renowned wines, thecave architecture from the old days. La Maine and its charmingly beautiful towpaths, in the centre thehorticulture which is reinventing itself, to the north mining areas.
